I am very excited to list my first post!!!

okay so here is the deal...

I have a 770 and an 800 and a blackberry 8830. I have struggled for months to get the 770 to connect to the b8830 via bluetooth. I keep getting the phone dosent support ..... error message. Then I bought a 800 and BAM it connected and works great.. I love it....

does anyone know if there is an update for the 770 or some type of hack to force it to connect to the 8830.

any help would be appreciated.

I was finally able to get my Nokia N800 to connect to my Blackberry 8830 phone for internet connectivity.

First, I updated my Blackberry Desktop software to version 4.3(the lastest one) and then I updated my phone device software to the BlackBerry Device Software v4.2 (updated 11/19/2007 to the "http://vzw.smithmicro.com/blackberry/default.aspx" website).

After this the standard set-up worked just fine...( username="phone#@vzw3g.com ; pw= vzw ; dail-in #= #777 )

iharley, was this with the OS2008 or 2007?
