I'm looking for a podcast client to listen to talk shows and such. I suppose Canola2 will handle this? One thing I do currently is use my laptop for this. When I playback, I playback my talkshows faster than real-time using a pacemaker plugin under winamp. (Pacemaker uses a SoundTouch library). Is this possible with the N800-I imagine not due to the CPU requirements for 'pitch shifting'.
If not, does anyone have ideas on how to download podcasts to my linux media server, then someone 'transcode' the mp3s to speed them up, but still provide a seamless 'feed'/'connection' on the N800?
I could possible just use UPNP for the serving of the files. In which case any suggestions on the transcode method?
