Im trying to install the new OS 2008 Beta onto my N800 but its not working

I have charged my N800 completely then i connect it to my computer (which is running win XP). It detects my N800 and i can choose a new .bin file but then my dual-boot menu appears on my N800 and it disconnects.

A while ago i installed the dual-boot menu because i wanted to try XFCE onto the N800 and im sure this is why i cant upgrade it.

I would really need some help with upgrading my N800 and removing the dual-boot support.

As im only running linux on my N800, router and server i a Windows solution would be the least trouble for me.

Edit: After alot of tries and with the final firmware it worked!
