I am still getting used to it, but this thing is cool!!! I am having problems with the downlload area, but I was trying large area's, is there a limitation? Should I be able to select an area and all the zoom levels? Everytime I try to use it, it hangs with cpu 100% for 5 minutes then crashes. I have the i-blue and it found my gps and started right up. I will try it with my t-mobile internet tomorrow, but the bandwidth is not that great. The google maps are awesome, even with no gps, the maps would be great to have to take with you. I look forward to 0.2 and beyond.

you made some cool stuff!!

The code doesn't place any artificial limitation, but maybe it should. I haven't tested it with more than a thousand maps, and that was only on my PC. There may be memory limitations... I never intended Maemo Mapper to be a mass map downloader!

Maybe I'll pop up a message dialog box saying just how many maps would be downloaded by the operation, and limit it at some heuristic number.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll look into it.
