I've configured rtcomm on OS2008 to work with voipstunt. The configuration is the following:
username: myusername @ sip.voipstunt.com
password: mypassword
Use for PSTN calls: checked
Advanced:
- connection:
Transport:UDP
Outgoing proxy connectionserver.voipstunt.com
Port: 5060
Discover public addr: checked
Keep-alive mechanism: Auto (I tried all the options here)
Keep-alive frequency: 0 (tried different values)
Authentification: myusername
password: mypassword
STUN:
stun.voipstunt.com 3478
Also I had to remove the libgstdspilbc.so lib
Calling works just fine, I can speak and people hears me very well. The problem is that it hangups each after exactly 25s, the client doesn't detect it and thinks that the line is still on.
(it's not a problem with my account or other things, it works just fine with sjphone under linux and windows)
I've tried different varius combinations with the keep-alive option but it doesn't help, maybe it's a problem with some of the libraries? if voipbuster/voipcheap and other similar providers that are based on the same system works for people most probably the problem is with some incompatibility with my programs/libraries or maybe configuration.
Any ideas?
thank you very much
