Hi,

I can donate development of the following MS Windows application for all those living indoor off-wifi, having no chance to install applications live on-line-wifi from install files seen in respositories like

http://gronmayer.com/it/index.php?lang=en&system=maemo4.

Such application should download every install file from the above web page, extract included url address of a specified repository
cd to a specified directory
and show all installable applications, if any.

Such applications should have OS selector incorporated to let a user to select his/her own OS, tablet
as Gronmayer did.

Than download installable packages/applications to respective cataloges/directories with necessary dependencies/libraries.

Such application can read dbgk file listing all applications already installed on maemo and select new applications as maemo Application Manager does only.

So exactly to simulate download, selection of repositories, applications
and keep track of downloaded applications, upgrades and more.

I live 99% of my time off-wifi and in winter time I have no chance to go outdoor to connect to free hotspot to download any package/application live .

I prefer a use of PC and much larger size lcd monitor to access maemo.org,. maemo repositories, forums, download packages and more.

Such application doesn't look really compliocated as it only simulates exactly what maemo Application Manager does, updating a list of installable applications from selected repositories.

Please let me know your opinion.
And please let me know how many of you lives off-wifi indoor, showing interest in such MS Windows application, for those not running Linux machine on PC.

Darius
