I am trying to install KDE359v2 on my iternal card(I am booting from it tooo) on n810, my initial problem was that

I downloaded the two files that one and the SUP

and when i ran

/tar-temp/bin/tar jxvf KDE358.tar.bz2

it tries to install for a couple of minutes and then i get: compressed file ends unexpectedly;
perhaphs it is corrupted?

ad then it took some of my space i only had 636mb left
so i figured that the files hadnt downloaded completely so i redownloaded them and installed them again but it ran out of space and all 1.39 gb partition filled up so now i can not longer boot from mmc(internal) i am guessing it is because its full..

so i need help on what to do imo i think i have to partition again all over right?
if so what are the partition sizes.

i am a linux noobie and i do get a little confused with the commands so please help me .

do i need to start all over?

Its hard to say exactly what the problem is. If I had to guess,

You said you ran this
/tar-temp/bin/tar jxvf KDE358.tar.bz2

But where exactly was KDE358.tar.bz2 at?

if KDE358.tar.bz2 was on the same filesystem you are trying to untar to, you will run out of space.

place KDE358.tar.bz2 on a separate card/partition, or make your partition 2GB if you are going to put KDE358.tar.bz2 on the same filesystem you are untarring to.

You should be able to more KDE358.tar.bz2 and just start the untar again, you should not have to start over, if this is what your problem is?
