My primary motivation for getting the N810 was so that I would be able to securely communicate with friends and family back home while I travel with the help of my OpenPGP key pair integrated with Claws or some other decent mail client sporting support for IMAP.

As it turns out, the days are counting down to my flight and I am in a panic with the realization that one of the most important pieces of software is missing, GnuPG. The binary it ships with packaged in osso-gnupg is more or less useless since it is so stripped down, it can't even search key servers. What is really alarming is that Claws doesn't even support GPG encryption in the binary for OS 2008 (and perhaps the other older ones as well).

Has anyone any suggestions?

Since Claws Mail depends upon libgpgme, which depends on a proper GnuPG, it can't.

The stripped-down osso-gnupg seems a strange idea...
