I just keep this short and simple. Is it possible to use MM like wayfinder navigator? I mean like if I can add adress to travel and MM will give me driving directions?

I just can't figure out how to use MM as incar navgator, maybe I want too much for free ?

If someone could give me help, should I go and buy this 3 years license or still give hope for MM?

Yes, if you download the maps in maemo mapper and add a bluetooth GPS (or a USB one if you can get it working) then it will work. Combined with Flite it'll even do voice directions.

problem is that I can't find hardly any streetadress with MM. Wayfinder seems to be better with that.

I have autodownload activated in MM over BT and GPRS

You can't find as in you can't find a route or you can't see the street on the program?

There's a comprehensive help file, accessible via the menu, if you are stuck and need help with particular features.

You can't get directions without an internet connection. If you don't have a cellphone data plan, you'll need to download the routes before leaving home. You can't just enter an address at any time and get a route, unless you have an internet connection.

I run them both at the same time on my N800...

I use Hybrid VE maps in M/M and run at zoom level 5. It looks like I'm flying over the ground at an altitude of about 1200 ft. I then fire up Wayfinder and punch in my route and just minimize it. I then bring M/M back up in full screen mode and have the best of both worlds... satellite imagery with nice voice guidance.

I use Nutter's Maemo Mapper Mod with M/M 2.2 so I can have 4 gig of maps stored on my removable memory card and I keep Wayfinder on my internal card. That way I only need to connect to the net if I want to stop and drill down the zoom.

Auto rotate and pan work flawlessly and the only performance hit can be seen in the lead amount. Without Wayfinder I set my position to the lower fifth of the M/M screen. However, when I fire up Wayfinder in the background the lead jumps up to 2/3rds of the screen...

I think it is a small price to pay for a good navigator that shows real imagery instead of line drawings.

Sounds awsome, this didn't come up to my mind . Maybe you are right about buying this wayfinder product, I allready used trial and searching street adress and making route plan was so easy compared to maemo mapper. Usually with MM I end with somekind of error message and it won't find any street adress and route plan doesn't work easy.

After some hard google and searching best choise for me I notice that nav4all is planning to relase nav4all for free to N800. I do own n810 but I guess it will run with it too. http://www.nav4all.com/site2/www.nav...nguk/index.php
