I just purchased a second N800 on EBAY. It was incredibly cheap because the former owner said it would not connect to the internet. I figured that it must have something set wrong..

Well, now I have it and I have not been able to get it to hook up to my home WiFi, nor the WiFi anywhere else. I have of course input the WEP codes for home and had no luck.

It "sees" the WiFi, as well as all other networks in the area, but every time I try to connect, I get a "network Error" message.

Anyone have any insight into this? Greatly appreciate the help.

Go into settings>control panel > connectivity>connections>edit. Check to see what the settings are. Then reset your home wireless network. If this fails reflash the N800.
One of these should fix your connection. I had a similar problem when I first brought mine home. Hope this helps, Dan

HI Dan:

Thanks for the response. Not sure what you mean by "reflash", but I have re-installed the latest version of the software, if that is what you mean.

Also, it is having connectivity issues everywhere, not just at home. My other N800 is fine....
