If you have a data plan on your phone, then you pair the phone with the N800 and can be on the internet where ever you want to be. If you don't have a data plan, at the very least you can send and receive photos or music to the device and back, if your phone supports it. What kind of phone do you have would be the first good question...As far as a newbie forum, it's listed right in the forum list.

pairing with bluetooth can have many profiles. For instance, Dial Up Networking (DUN) is the most popular way to connect to the internet via your cellular phone, followed up my Personal Area Networking (PAN). You can also do other things with other profiles (which i don't know the names for) but like more files over you phone, use this sms app to recieve sms's on your nit, and more.

Which carrier are you using as that will make a difference in how your phone connects to your data service. You can get carrier specific instructions here if you do a search. Also, if your phone is windows mobile 6, it may use pan (personal area network) connection via bluetooth to connect, much like my Tmobile Wing. In the bluetooth area of the tablet, you can get an idea of which profiles your Ocean supports. It will mention profile support of HFP,DUN,PAN,A2DP and others. Knowing if it supports these or other profiles will go a long way in figuring out how to connect your tablet to the phone properly. It may be that it has bluetooth and only supports things like stereo audio and nothing more, which would make it not possible to connect it with the internet. It's entirely possible that it will pair with the phone, but because the phone doesn't use or have the right profile, it won't work no matter what you try. Many variables!
