Hi Guys! Just got my 770 and loving it! I do have a question: Can I use a Bluetooth Keyboard and tether to my Bluetooth phone for internet Simultaneously? How about adding a mouse to the mix ?

Thanks!

Should work. Worked for me couple of times. Bluetooth allows 6 other slave devices in same piconet so as long as tablet is master or can switch to master role, it should allow simultaneous connections from 6 devices. And maybe I got it wrong and it even works always with no such limitation (not sure if same piconet requirement is needed in this scenario or if device can have more roles simultaneously when connecting to more devices).

the "craziest" setup i have used with bluetooth was my N800, my freedom universal keyboard, my sonyericsson Z710 featurephone and my jabra BT8010 headset, all at the same time...

the bluetooth and phone was paired with the N800, the headset was paired to the phone.

only problem i had was that as i used my phone as a mp3-player and "modem" at the same time, the music would stutter when the tablet wanted something online...

I have used a keyboard, a mouse, and a BT headset (listening to music) all at once, with my phone connected (phonelink), but not doing much (in fact, just waiting for calls, so I can get the notification through the tablet -> headset).

Troubles may arise with using a phone as internet connection, as that can use a lot of bandwidth, as can headset use. So those two are likely to suffer when doing both; keyboard and mice are very low bandwidth, so they should be fine. (Tso's example might have been due to limited BT bandwidth, or limited CPU for mp3 decoding; can't tell which.)

my guess would be limited bluetooth bandwidth as a2dp is very demanding iirc...

i have used music and the opera mini at the same time so cpu should not be a issue

btw, i just noticed that DUN creates less interference then PAN when it comes to music playback...

mostly it appears while the tablet is trying to connect to a webpage. ones the connection is established, teh interferences goes away...

Hmm ... I wonder if that is a CPU load issue or a Bluetooth bandwidth issue. I suspect it's not the bandwidth of Bluetooth - On other devices, I can run a keyboard, mouse, headset, and phone tether all at once without music stuttering.

strange then that the phone can deal with music and j2me app at the same time, but music and tethering have issues. i would have guessed that j2me would strain it more then just moving tcp/ip traffic from bluetooth to gsm...
