Hi - I am soon moving to the US, and planning to buy a N800 with a 3G phone, and subscribe to an unlimited data service package (e.g. 'phone as modem' from Sprint). My question now is: can I configure things such that I can share my internet connection with a laptop? (So as to have internet on the N800 and at the same time on my wife's laptop?)

thanks,

Johannes

What phone are you going to use?

Haven't decided on a phone yet. If a certain phone would allow connection sharing I'd go for that one. Any tips on this?

thanks.

I've got a N95 8GB and been using WalkingHotSpot to connect my N800 & Laptop, WalkingHotSpot allows you to connect 5 seperate devices to the mobile phone via wifi.

Thanks Gerry, that's exactly what I was after! (Interesting to see this is a fairly recent development.)

I understand any wifi enabled 3G phone would suffice?
