This is primarily to support Quake and Maqii (at the moment) but could possibly support quakeworld, maybe hexen2, or other multiplayer game servers which support QStat.

This is a GTK2+ front end for the QStat command line server query engine. Its like gamespy where you can browse game servers, see what maps they are running and join them.

Download Here (around 500K - 1Meg)

Perhaps we can configure this in future for tablet game servers, but this is a good start. I was able to configure it to run Quake2 online games with Maqii and play dm, ctf, and even simple server side mods like Lithium Ctf... it was able to autodownload those custom maps, sounds, models, etc.

For Maqii :
It's a little awkward configuring the quake2 launch command because the OK/cancel buttons dont fit on screen so just set the command line to :
maqii +set basedir /media/mmc1/quake2 +set snd_ref sdl +set vid_width 400 +set vid_height 240 +set vid_gamma 0.75 +set m_sensitivity 15

Dpad down to working directory and set to :
/media/mmc1/quake2

Once those settings are done, dpad down (twice?) until you cannot see the focused control and then press dpad enter/enter to save changes. You can also edit all settings in the /home/user/.qf/config file.

For SDLQuake :
Set quake1 command line to sdlquakepxd
Then set working directory to /media/mmc2/quake (or wherever you have data files).
(you might also need write permission in dir with data files so ready2run might have to grant permission to user in /usr/lib/sdlquake)

The screen is rather cramped but once you refresh the servers, you can highlight a server and hit F6 to toggle fullscreen. That keypress only works when the server list is highlighted.

Maqii binding are weird sometimes with multiplayer games, on 810 you will need to press Ctrl to get to console and from there 'team red' or 'team blue' for ctf and use dpad enter to complete command.
