How can I enable stylus input when using a bluetooth keyboard such as the Nokia SU8W with the N800 OS2008? I want to do this for entering passwords. It seems that once the keyboard is paired with the N800, stylus input is disable until the N800 is rebooted. Just turning off the keyboard is insufficient. Even turning off bluetooth on the N800 control panel doesn't restore stylus input.

This has been discussed here. Please take time to vote for the bug.

Here are two tips. First, make sure the bluetooth status bar icon is activated. I believe the thread I just linked to describes why. Second, when you are done using the BT keyboard, either close it up or else just let it sleep. DON'T use the stylus for input just yet. Let the tablet's screen dim/turn off and sit for a minute or two. At some point, the screen will come back on. This happens when the tablet recognizes that the keyboard is no longer in use. Wait a few more moments, and then try the stylus. The on-screen keyboard *should* pop back up when called. No a foolproof procedure (and certainly far from ideal), but it can be better than rebooting---certainly better for the battery life than rebooting.

Good luck!
