The 770 doesn't have an "mmc2". Besides, if you're booting from it, it's mounted at /.

I read the wiki post about how to setup the tablet to boot from mmc2 partition, copy the files, make simlinks and all that. I think I understand the concept.
What confuses me is if I go to X term and execute ls -a media/mmc2 I get no files listed. There is nothing in the partition. I would expect to see all the system files there.
The boot from mmc2 works, tablet functions, I even get more installed applications available in "extras" when I boot from mmc2 then from flash. What does this all mean?
