Hi,

I have a problem with my N800 I hope you all could help me with. When I turned on my Nokia N800 today, it seemed extra laggy and unresponsive than usual. After a couple of minutes, the touchscreen stopped working completely, but I could still navigate with the buttons. However, when I turned it off, it kept restarting itself over and over again. Eventually I had to hold down the power button to force it to turn off. When I turn it back on again, the touchscreen still doesn't work, and the tablet itself just keeps restarting itself. Can someone help me??

Thanks

I think the touchscreen has nothing to do with it and if something simple like removing any sd cards you may have doesn't solve it, you need to reflash.

I took off my old screen protector, and that solved everything. Weird. Any recommendations for good screen protectors?

I've had the non-responsive screen problem before from a screen protector that wasn't installed properly. What I'm trying to say is that it's probably not the protector itself but how you placed it on the screen... Be careful not to wedge or force the SP under the edge of the case as this can cause pressure on the screen.

As for good SPs I personally recommend either Boxwave or Brando they are both pretty much the same (there is someone in another thread who thought that Boxwave had better Anti-glare SPs - but I bought one to compare to Brando's Anti-glare SP and do NOT see any difference).

I recommend that u keep the screen protector that came with the tablet when u first bought it. Those are usually installed on correctly.
