I just downloaded the .deb from garage and used app manager to install it, worked fine for me.
https://garage.maemo.org/frs/downloa...2008_armel.deb
that is todays version, I actually installed --> https://garage.maemo.org/frs/downloa...2008_armel.deb which worked fine.
Something was installed as it appears in updates and in installed. disabled chinook extras, removed the half installed item, closed app manager, re-opened, and there was a mapper in the installable applications list!
This one failed to install with the same errors as the last one. It too left a broken install and it too said there was an update - that failed to install. Removed again...
So this time I removed Chinook extras, not just disabling it. restarted app manager, there;s a maemo mapper there!
No idea where it comes from, it wasn't there before I installed the chinook repository.
Is there a working maemo for Diablo, and where do I get it from as the chinook one doesn't seem to work anymore?
How can I tell which repository a given package is from? An apt-get command?
