I've just installed Canola on my n810.

I've got icons for music, photos and settings and that's it.
I don't have one for videos.
I've checked all three of the video folders in settings, and there are videos there. I've installed the YouTube plugin and got MPlayer installed which will play videos nicely, but still no icon in Canola and no way to view YouTube videos.

What am I doing wrong here?
I've only just got my tablet, so I'm assuming I've missed something!

Any ideas?

Thanks

it's a problem with the latest firmware. Canola was created for the previous version that had a different version of python... annnyyyywayyyy long story short, you will have to wait for the new version of canola, although you can get it working with some fiddling. This post was made by user JayJay "Well, I got Canola working properly on Diablo today. I uninstalled the copy that wasn't working along with the Python packages, then I disabled all the application catalogs except for the Chinook Extras which was manually added, and then I redownloaded Canola from the Web catalog on the Application manager. Now it's working with the plug-ins too."

Hi Alec,

In all forums it's always good to make a search before asks, this way you save time if someone already faced your problem. This same problem is described in the thread Canola Diablo !

Thanks both

I did see the post you mentioned, but being a hopeless newbie I wasn't sure if it was the same thing.

Now I know.

Thanks again
