I've been connecting to my wafer-thin Samsung 3G via Bluetooth with my N810 to get internet access when there's no wireless hotspot. And this leads me to another stupid question, but I just curious...

Is it true that this will be impossible to do with the 3G iPhone because there's no "tethering" function. (I know this would be redundant because why use the N810 in conjunction with the 3G iPhone when the iPhone already has web browsing functionality.)

afaik, the iphone 3G will not have tethering. note that im not sure if this is only for the at&t one, or for all sold.

I've seen people using OpenSSH to tether on the iPhone and laptops
