i manage to install the home ip applet but when i try to open it on the applet. it doent show up... is there a way to know the ip address of the tablet? i need it to log on to winscp

Go to Settings, Connection Manager. Then from the menu click Internet connection, IP address.

I have had the same problem since upgrading to the latest home ip applet.

in the xterm just give the command:
"/sbin/ifconfig wlan0"

It's a borked dependency, the developer is pushing the dependency into the Diablo repo right now. The next time you see an update for homeip it should be fixed. There is a workround posted in the mcalendar thread.

i installed it... installed successfully but still not appearing on the desktop!

im on chinook btw

Go the ifconfig way. It will work in any case.
