2.the gps on the n810 is better than the n800.
Dose gps work at all on the n800?
3. I like to right and the n800 has the thum keyboard-I like that on the n770

4.the n810 has a bilt in key baord - I read that it was bad for big fingers.

5.I like Quiver Image Viewer use it all the time on n770-both the
n800 & the n810 can use it

6. how is wright on the n800 or n810 can you save fast and offen?

7.the n800 has two card insted of one-is this good the n810 has one
card.
A. The n800 one slot is hard to get to

8. n800 cost less

9. The softwere works the same

2. The n800 does not have a built-in GPS at all but you can connect to an external bluetooth GPS if you have one.

3/4. The n810 has the options of thumb board or text recognition as well. You don't have to use the builtin keyboard if you don't want. Or you can use an external bluetooth keyboard with either of them. See if you can get hold of an n810 to try out the keyboard: it takes some getting used to but I think isn't at all bad.

7. How often do you want to change cards? The n810 has 2Gb built-in, sort of equivalent to the n800's 'hard to get at' card except you can't change it at all.

You missed: the cursor rocker switch on the n810 is only accessible when the keyboard is open, and the n810 is slightly smaller.

N800 takes full-size SD; N810 is mini-SD. This means that larger cards are available for the N800, and it takes two of them; 32 GB SDHCs are available in the ~120USD range, while I'm not sure even 16GB miniSDHCs are shipping yet... between that and having one slot, you've got a maximum of 64GB in the N800, and a maximum of 18GB in the N810.

The software is the same, as is most hardware not mentioned above.

One thing missed is the screen; the screen on the N800, I think I've heard, is somewhat brighter than the 770. But I know the N810's is brighter than the N800, and also transreflective for better outdoor daylight visibility. They're all the same resolution and size.

Also, the N800 has an FM radio receiver, while the N810 does not.

Nope. USB OTG is fine on both; connectors for the N810 are a bit harder to find, but it works fine.

The N800's screen is significantly brighter and clearer than the 770's.

In addition to that, the N810 features a multicolor LED for alerts, while the N800 offers only blue. Yes, that is one of the reasons I'm tempted to upgrade to an N810. Sad, I know.
