I never saw an indication/message that Diablo had been updated. I went ahead and did a backup, then used App. Manager to check for updates. My phone bluetooth function crashed while checking was underway.

After power cycling my phone, checking for updates yeilded no updates available.

Per Maemo's new wiki, I tried: apt-get install osso-software-version-rx44 . X-term reported the update was not needed along with several unmet dependencies.

About Product showed current os version: 4.2008.23-14 .

Am I current or not?

Thanks

you are not current
take a look at the following thread
http://www.internettablettalk.com/fo...ad.php?t=22733

you will see a bunch of people myself included who had a similar issue

i think your answer is from pages 26-29ish

if that don't work- backup reflash and restore

Did you try updating the repositories again?

GA: I got frustrated and flashed the first version of diablo again. This went fine and I got the orange "!". However repeated failures of my phone's bluetooth function left me part way through installation of the new update. I'll try for a replacement phone tomorrow.

Thanks
