When I was in the military, I worked with Mobile Subscriber Equipment. Our antenna was set up in the the center of the mock battlefields and its job was to take incoming messages from vehicles that could only broadcast 20 miles and act as a retransmission station, sending the message another 20 miles. In effect, that vehicle could talk to someone.40 miles away through us.

Why couldn't the 770 bet setup to become Bluetooth retransmitters between familiarized 770's?

In a big house or mansion, 770's could be strategically wall mounted to act as retransmitters so a 770 out by the pool could reach all the way to the main computer 120 ft away and upstairs.

Or say you've invented a way to turn your camera phone into a spycam (see my other thread about cellphones as webcams, what one person posted. haha!) you might need to boost the range beyond 35 feet to get away with your 'spy' operations.

Note: The author of this post does not condone spying other than for crime catching or 'wife faithfulness litmus test' purposes. Please do not extend this idea into the realm of voyueristic fetishes and felonies etc. . . I would feel like Albert Einstein after the atom bomb.
