while attempting to increase the busybox ash command history i accidently deleted /etc/profile !

Yes i know, stupid but accidents happen.

anyway before i loose everything on a reboot can someone post the contents of /etc/profile ?

running diablo, 4.2008.30-2

didn't manage to increase the ash history anyway, tried ~/.profile and /etc/profile with HISTSIZE=1000; export HISTSIZE but busybox seems to have it hard coded.

cheers

Here's mine...
Code:
# /etc/profile: system-wide .profile file for the Bourne shell (sh(1))
# and Bourne compatible shells (bash(1), ksh(1), ash(1), ...).

. /etc/ptmalloc.conf

export PATH="/usr/bin:/bin"

umask 022
source /etc/osso-af-init/af-defines.sh
Hope it helps!

spontaneous reboot after uninstall of ad-block plus tested the recovered profile.

All worked, so thanks again.

p.s. backed up /etc to sd card for future mistakes !

cheers
