Sorry if i'm being redundant. I tried to search the forums but evidently that is impossible if using a N810 to browse this site. This thing has locked up on me twice to the point where i had to remove the battery to reset it. Has anyone else experienced this?

I have lots more questions and issues!

Thanks for any insight.

It happens but should be very very rare on the N810. My 770 used to show this behavior quite a lot due to lack of free RAM. I never had to reset my N810 that way yet, but I'm still running Chinook on it.
What were you doing when the device locked up? Did you have a lot of applications or browser windows open? Maybe setting up virtual memory (memory settings in the control panel) will help.

I was launching Skype. Maybe 1 browser window and mailbox monitor tray app (may I say TSR ?). Anyhow, the more I try to do things with this thing the more I become convinced that I wasted $367. The browser sucks and the e-mail program won't even open half of the time.
Just needed to get that off my chest.

ITT is especially heavy on the front page. Is your virtual memory enabled? This should help

Too many apps in flash? Are you running from flash?
Corrupted memory?

Re-flash the device. Reformat the 2G internal flash also. That may help.
