Hello all. Been out of the forum game for awhile now, so I hope the texting is not too bad. I have a few questions and would like to get some opinions from people in the "tablet" world.

I bought a Fujitsu ST 5010 about 5 years ago on eBay for about $1800. I liked the concept (still do) and have used the tablet off and on for 3 years or so. I have taken very good care of it and it runs just as well today as it did when I purchased it. It has many extras with it like a docking station, a nylon tablet holder and notebook case, as well as a wireless keyboard/mouse from fujitsu. It had 512mg of RAM (I upgraded it to 2 GB) and has a 60GB HDD. It has Microsoft XP Tablet edition from Fujitsu on it and has never faultered or given me a problem since the day I owned it. It still has the standard Li-ion battery it came with and it still holds a very good charge. It came with one of those protective plastic covers for the screen and I have never removed it. I will admit that this protective screen has some very fine scuffing on it as you would expect, but is in no way scratched and or marred. Not having looked, I would imagine the screen itself is in perfect condition.
I also still have all the software for it and I'm sure that I could even dig up the original boxes it was shipped with. (When I bought it from eBay, it came in the original packaging)

My question is this... Is there still a market for these things? The processor is a 1.0ghz centrino. Definately not a speedster in today's market. Do people still want and look for them. And as for a price... I have no clue what to ask. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Oh, and if anyone is interested in it, let me know.

By the way. If your wondering why I am looking to sell it? Simple. I do not use it anymore. It sits in its case and does nothing but collect dust. recently took it out and re-discovered how fun it was to use...(Thats when I upgraded the RAM), but I really don't have a need for it anymore, so I thought I would try to find it a good home.

Thanks for taking the time to read this post. Feel free to comment.

Steve

Sounds like an interesting device. I checked ebay, and then google product search. I found this http://www.google.com/products/catal...#ps-tech-specs Its a bit sketch. I do not think thier is anyway its new, but it does not say its used.Used things typically do not sell at very high prices, especially laptops/tablets.
I hope my post was a bit helpful.

(note: I would never in a million years pay that much for a used tablet. There is too much that could just wear out or go bad. and also I would really love anything like that but there is no way I could afford one)
