I think you got this backwards. Tegra is a chip(set). So the relations are OMAP3 - Tegra, TI - NVidia, Nokia - [unknown]. I say unknown as no mainstream OEM showed/demoed any Tegra devices yet. NVidia just displayed a factory prototype, TI did that early 2008 or late 2007. Not sure what you are trying to compare the RX-51 and Nokia to.

Only about 12 factory employees who were playing around with an overclocked prototype that overheated and caused a small(ish) nuclear explosion.

But that's beside the point.

one, they are opening up more and more.

two, its a learning experience for the management. some of the closed bits are there so the management can think the product stands out from the crowd (silly i know, but what can you do about old school suits?)

I'm not comparing anything. I simply stated that Nokia hasn't shown anything, which lends itself to lesser faith in myself.

Semantics aside about the chipset versus CPU versus OEM versus whatever; there's zero falsehood in what I stated as my opinion - nothing shown, lesser faith.

Not unless you have a direct link to something that Nokia themselves have posted of the next generation NIT in action.

Whitepapers do not count.

Stantum on OMAP3 and Access Linux on OMAP3 does not equate to Nokia. It does give a clue to what Nokia is working with. But not what Nokia is working on.

I don't get where anybody is reading more into a very simple statement. I just don't get it at all. Sheesh.
