Update: whatever is going on is also causing microB to lose its settings upon terminating the browser.

But this time, upon rebooting, my microB homepage has been reset to the default home.html; my user-agent is back to default user-agent; and my hardware key bindings are back to where the d-pad up/down moves from link to link, instead of page to page.
so let me ask: WTF?
