I am taking a 2000mile trip in eastern Europe and cannot depend of WiFi hot spots for maps. I do not have terabytes of mmmc1 to hold useful levels of the maps along the route. Therefore, I want to set up a set of maps on my mmc1 that has level 3 maps of
4 cities and then load my route with +-1 map for levels 6, 10, 15.
I loaded the route (about 2.177 GB) but was unable to load the first city by area.
I received "Operation temporarily disabled due to low memory".
Btw I have 128 meg pf swap (virtual memory) set up.
I then tried to load the first city (895 MB) after blowing the route away. I received the same error.
Can someone suggest a way to get these maps resident on a 8 GB mmc1?
