How awesome would boxee on the NIT's be? Both share a strong emphasis on internet media and the like, plus the tablets really need a better mediacenter application!

It's not completely ridiculous to want this, right? XBMC was actually ported to the beagle boards which (sort of) shares similar characteristics to the nokia, plus boxee and xbmc are opensource, free programs.

I know this is probably completely unfeasible but just the thought of boxee on my n810 makes all that iphone envy go away.

Playing lots (OK: quite a few) of unconverted videos on the N810 can make mplayer go slow (which barely has an interface) so why would XBMC be an option?

Plus, the Beagle Board is a lot more powerful than the N810 is.

XBMC also requires hardware acceleration.

I'd be content with a Boxee remote app.
