Somehow I don't think our tablet with the limited screen drivers can support all those fancy effects =P.

The video and the screenshots look really nice. Now we know why Canola2's source code was kept secret for such a long time. But I somehow get the feeling that now that Memphis is being announced, Canola is practically dead with all core developers focusing on Memphis. We had the same situation and abandonment already with Canola1, so it could be likely.
Was Canola just the development and testing ground for Memphis, and won't see any updates anymore?

Sliding and fading are not really fancy effects and if done well the tablets can handle them quite well. However the screen tearing would be unbearable on N800 and N810!
