well I'm sure audio can be streamed too, but wouldn't it be easier to just get a magnifying glass ?

You'd think something bad would happen in the space-time continuum or something with that kind of pairing.
Would it be possible to use an N800 as the interface to the N900, tethering them together with bluetooth or wifi?
VNC would give access to the desktop, but is there any way to pass the audio or other functions to the N800?
