and there is no way in hell I would pay for them ...or even put them on my feet for free.

A few years back I did a number of t-shirts and sweat shirts with Maemo logos in our colours ...
I have a few boxes of shirts, hoodies and sweaters I buy now and then in bulk ..
take my illustration work and put them on the shirts and sweaters ...
Sell them ..along with my other works I do..
Anyway ...
I wanted a few pieces of Maemo wear for myself at least ...
So I did a proto line of a few shirts, hoodies and sweaters with Maemo art and logos.
Then posted here ...for any who wanted I could make them...
just tell me the size and shirt colour (white and grey work best with our colours ...they show up best btw)
Asked for the cost of shipping, cost of printing, and the cost (which was significantly low since I get them in bulk anyway) of the shirt, hoodie or sweater...
Wasn't asking any more than that. Or cost of my time..
Nor was i looking at a profit margin..

and no one was interested.

So at 149 pounds ...for a pair of sneakers...
I do wish you luck with getting even minimum orders to start production..

Good points. Yeezy boots look awful (shape of outsole! colours! synthetics!), by the way - and I have seen people outdoors walking in something like that (shape of outsole, at least).

Another attempt at design attached. Darker, probably more Halloween-ish :P . Yes, 169USD/225CDN (+shipping) is a lot - but, it is made of leather. It is possible to have a design costing 149USD, but, it would probably have a weaker (wearing out faster) sole - black layer, as ugly as it looks, is intended to add durability? I have attached screenshots of different possible shapes earlier, see if there is a preference for a particular one...

It is rumoured that I may be able to offer 30$ discount (aka no-profit-for-designer-seller), but I haven't figured out how to do this yet. And anyway, I have got to finalise design to something that finds 7 interested-and-paying customers :-)

Any examples of your merchandise?.. Shirts, hoodies, sweaters? If they are available? Just curious :-)

May take a while to find it again.
I wear the protos all the time...
so it was no loss for me...just fun..

But I only made a few examples of each in t-shirts, hoodies long-sleeve casuals, and sweaters (or "jumpers" as the Brits call 'em ..sounds terribly silly name I always thought though...)

None are for sale.
No one showed an inkling of interest so I stopped at the handful of protos I made ..
and naturally made no more.
Why spend the money, time, and resources to end up having dozens or hundreds of clothes in stock no one wants to purchase?
I would be sitting on them for the rest of my life.
Not into that.
So I have a about 10 to 12 pieces for my self.
That is plenty of Maemo fashion for me.
