Hi,

we are running Linux v2.6.29omap1 on N810.
For v2.6.21 GPS works fine, following this Post:

http://wiki.maemo.org/Mer/Documentation/N810_GPS

But with v2.6.29omap1 gpsd seems not to work correctly.

this is wat we got, then it stops:
Code:
# gpsd -n -N -D2 /dev/pgps
gpsd: launching (Version 1.0-29)
gpsd: listening on port gpsd
gpsd: successfully connected to the DBUS system bus
gpsd: running with effective group ID 0
gpsd: running with effective user ID 0
gpsd: opening GPS data source at '/dev/pgps'
gpsd: speed 38400, 8N1
gpsd: gpsd_activate: opened GPS (5)
gpsd: => GPS: $PFEC,GPint,GSA01,DTM00,ZDA01,RMC01,GLL00,VTG00,GSV05*3B\x0d

gpsd: => GPS: @NC10151010\x0d

gpsd: => GPS: $PMOTG,ZDA,1*2F\x0d

gpsd: => GPS: $PGRMCE*0E\x0d

gpsd: => GPS: $PSRF105,1*3E\x0d

gpsd: => GPS: $PFST*11\x0d
Anything else also works fine (Wireless ...).
Is there any Sollution?

Thanks in advance

IIRC, gps5300driver depends on a kernel bug in 2.6.21. Nokia refuses to release the source, so we can't fix it.
