Hey all.

I have a MPEG-4 media file. It's 320x192.

It plays just fine in Media Player but in Mplayer I only get sound with a black screen.

What would be the command line to play this full screen in Media Player in 2x mode (640x384) with everything else at default settings?

Playing this normally through Media Player I get a full screen (800x480) and it looks super goofy.

I tried searching but ended up confused with no answers.

Thanks a bunch, especially if someone can rifle off an answer within the next few hours.

I don't know the media player commands, but you can fiddle with the "-aspect" parameter in mplayer. Try "mplayer -aspect 16:9 tinyvid.avi"

Alternatively, you could transcode the video using a PC to have more standard dimensions.

Sorry I really am not much use here

Poopers!

Out of all the users here, I figured you would be the one to most likely have an answer on this. So I guess it can't be done afterall.

Yeah, I could transcode the video but two days ago my computer just makes static clicking noises when hooked up to the power cord.

No power to it though.

Any chance that you might be good at abnormal computer weirdness repair? *lol*
