Hi guys ( at N900 owners),

I went to the site and it said that in order to go onto portrait mode throughout the device you've got to go to the phone app, tilt the screen and close the phone app.
can anyone confirm this please.

btw i just read that this is not a feature but a bug.
what he did was the following: he hold the phone in portrait-mode so the phone-app was launched. as this was happening, he pulled out the keyboard and closed the phone-app asap.
this is how the n900 went back to the desktop but still stayed in portrait-mode.
