I got home from work, and checked for suite updates - downloaded 1
Yay all good...
As that completes it says there is a new ovi update for you - Ovi 2!... oooooooOOoo i say!

So update i do.....

Errors after install "Unable to set music folder"
And now... on the setup screen, "Connect Device"

Unfortunately your device is not supported by Nokia Ovi Suite - Most older devices are supported by the Nokia PC Suite....

So... not only does it ask me to update, my N900 is an old nokia device?!?!?!

Anyone else had this issue?

Nokia is still setting up Ovi for the n900 so it's not working right now.

Still no excuse to ask the user to update..... and not allow them to use the new software, it really should check what phones are synced, or tell the user it doesnt support new phones before it installs.

I now have to uni-install it all and start again with the pc suite - what a waste of my time....

I suspect Microsoft's hand on this one.

SSH isn't too useful when you're trying to get directions.
