SOFTWARE VERSION:
n900-MAEMO 5.0

EXACT STEPS LEADING TO PROBLEM:

1. Start Media Player application, select the video icon (you need more videos)

2. After the video is ended, the app steps back to the video list, and dont

3. The next/previous button takes you back to video list, they arent has any real function

I would like to set an option for the continuous video playback in media player. Is this possible? Is Media Player based on open source?

look at this http://maemo.org/community/brainstor..._enhancements/
and propose a solution
or create an own proposal at http://maemo.org/community/brainstorm/

See the sticky threads in this forum for more information. Thanks

what is unusable for you? you may add a new solution to the first link or start a new brainstorm item with your own idea (which will be a doubled entry as ther is the first link already covering at the current state of your request)

Ok, I will do so. So the default Media Player application is closed source? It could be easier for me to implement this into the source code directly.

It's OS integrated, so it probably wouldn't.
But you can just wait for VLC for Maemo or use any other 3rd party media player.
