Now this is strange: my N900 sees the UPnP Media Server on my network and can stream both video and audio from there.

The file manager also allows access to the "images" folder; however, all image files are shown with "?"-symbols. Clicking on one of the image files does open the Maemo image viewer, but I only get a message that "non-local data cannot be accessed".

????

Is it more difficult to open a 53kb JPEG over the network connection than to stream a 3mb video?

Is this something I'm doing wrong or is this what The Gods decided? (Maybe it's just a setting in the media server?)

Can any of you guys check, please? Does it work elsewhere?

i have the same problem. tried orb, and dlna in win 7. either get your error or 'no files found' although all the subfolders are visible. video and music work brilliantly on both.
