Hello!

i've had the N900 for just over a week now and I'm having a problem with wifi.

Almost randomly - even if it has just been charging all day, wireless access points stop showing up in the list of connections when prompted to connect. Even if I delete and add the connections again, they don't show.

Only after killing wlancond will I be able to connect to access points.

It's only happened twice, so I haven't seen any patterns yet but I was wondering if anyone has any advice or ideas.

Many thanks,

Andrew

i'm seeing something very similar, where wlancond starts using >70% cpu and no networks show up. i have to reset my n900 to get wifi running again. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hmm, not sure if this is related but I lost close to 40% of my battery power yesterday with the device in my pocket doing nothing in just a few hours. No widgets, email set to manual, no data connections - it was literally sitting there.
After killing wlancond - the battery stabalized. It still dropped faster than I would expect, but nowhere near as bad.

I'll try and stick powertop on later today and see what's happening.

Oops. Just found this post. I guess it's the same thing: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?p=418901
