Annoying thing is that if you run out of space on rootfs even sending an sms is impossible somehow (constantly telling me no space left)
But i got a tip that i should look where the app manager does download applications or updates.. So i enabled redd pill and looked if download to mmc was enabled. It was enabled but then my eye did see the setting, show all packages that was disabled, so i enabled that and then press update..
Now i did see a lot of packages that where new.. like python and i did here that python was being optified, which is a good thing because that one takes about 30MB on rootfs in the usr/lib folder.
So i updated them all and yes my free space jumped from 30MB to 50MB!
They are creating unbreakable links by using mount -bind i believe from things like /opt/pymaemo/user/lib/python2.5 to /usr/lib/python2.5
i have to say its a very good start!
