I've been tinkering with my N900 alot in the past few days and needless to say I've managed to mess it up more than a little. I was wondering if there is a way I can default my device... not just reflash but fully restore it, partition tables and all, clear all user added data ect.

Can I do this somehow?

Thanks,
~Jeff

There is a "restore factory settings" in Control Panel menu, but I think its just for settings and not for hard-core reset.

I think the most you can do is reflash rootfs AND eMMC. That way everything is cleared up, except the secure portion (cal), which saves devicelock code etc.

I followed the flashing instructions found here but my edited partition table remained the same. Is there a different way I should be flashing the device?

Thanks,
~Jeff
