Hey All,
I've been trying to setup a transparent proxy server to tunnel my traffic through when I'm connected to T-Mobile gprs. I installed Squid on my ubuntu karmic machine and set up the connection to redirect http/https traffic on my N900 to it. Problem is I have no clue what I'm doing and I get an Access denied error from Squid =)
Does it even make sense to tunnel http/https traffic through my home server? I don't think it would make anything secure, but since I already started tempering with it would be nice to know if it's possible to get it working.
Anyone else tried something similar? I used tsocks before to tunnel things through an ssh connection when I was blocked by firewalls. Would this enable me to bypass firewalls?
