widgets are very usefull but two things to improve the experience
one they cannot be resized - some are just to big and clumbsy.
two the really important one is that they drain battery life- it would be nice to have a one push button that just opens converstions/calender/weather/etc - and you can view all, therefore the widgits are only on when you need them- and it doesnt unneccesarily drain battery life all the time..

off course we can just push short cuts but it would be nicer to see everything we need running live and auto updating at the push of a button on a customized desktop.
or another possibility is to have a desktop that is shut down until we go to it- as soon as you view desktop4 (for instance)- the process on the page come on.- as soon as you leave they switch off.
