Hi guys!
I have absolutely no skills to do this, so, is anybody working on a timidity port for Fremantle?
I've got it working on my N800, but haven't tryed on N900.
I would love to see it working...

There is a timidity support for Duke Nukem 3D in extres-devel. Maybe it's worth looking at.

I tried it, but couldn't get it working... I'm one of those GUI guys...

just saw a app called "timidity free parts" but I didnt got what it does... anyone?

It's the same as duke3d-timidity, only named more sanely. What it does is it provides sounds fonts for SDL_mixer so it can play midi files. They used old timidity codebase for the midi support, hence the name I guess. But it doesn't really have anything to do with current timidity.

So no MIDI support
I'll email os2008 timidity's developer to see what he thinks about writing it to maemo 5...
