I have noticed that if your N900 volume level is say about 50% before you go into MediaBox then that becomes the maximum when in MediaBox.
If you ensure that your volume level is 100% before going into MediaBox that should allow you to have maximum volume levels.
Seems to work for me for the time being.

Is there a way to increase the volume output by the MediaBox media player app? I know there is a volume slider on the left side but its not loud enough, i try to increase volume from the main menu but when the music is finished and moves onto the next one, it goes back to the previous volume setting.
Anyone help pls?
