As in the topic. The idea is to stream an notification or incoming call trough the N900 to a non-multipoint BT head set or cable HF.

I know this is a little crazy but I'm very curious about this and I can't hack it myself because I don't have a N900 (yet ).

I wanted to open a similar thread, then found this one and thought i'd give it a bump.
How easily can it be done? ('cos i'm sure it can be)

I know there's an app already called BlueMaemo that can make it look like a keyboard or mouse. I don't see why it couldn't look like an audio device.

My question would be, if you're routing a call to BT, why do you want the N900 to act like a bluetooth headset? Wouldn't taking the call on the N900 be enough?

Hummm. I think one possibility would be to use the N900 as an intermediary appliance to connect, say, another cell phone to another appliance, for instance, a stereo.

Or just use the N900 with recaller to help your friend record that conversation... ;-)

One reason would be to use it as a Bluetooth headset for the PS3
