I've installed mer on my n900 in a dual boot configuration. My aim is to install lxde and use it for some desktop computing tasks, and well just generally play around!
I have copied all of the n900's firmware into /lib/firmware on the mer partition, however after running /etc/init.d/bluetooth start and then hcitool dev, no bluetooth devices are detected.
