It is probably too old. And will need newer mplayer rc2 to play mov good anyway. I may get back to port the next version.

So, to get back on topic, is there a way to play .mov (quicktime) movies on the NIT? A lot of digital cameras generate this type of file and its frustrating not to be able to play them.

nobody knows?
then does anybody know how to convert .mov files to a compatible filetype on the n810 in linux?

but in the compatibility section, it doesn't say whether it will work in linux or not just mac and windows...
